Our Story

For more than fifty years IMA Distributors has brought the finest foods of the Mediterranean and the Middle East to the American table. What began as a search for a handful of ingredients that could not be found here has become one of the most complete portfolios of its kind in the country — held in depth, in our own warehouses, and supplied to national retailers and to the independent grocer on the corner alike.

What we carry

Pantry goods, and only pantry goods. Olive oils, preserves and pickles, pulses and grains, spices and blends, jams and syrups, olives, dates, pasta, bakery and charcuterie. Nothing that has to be rushed to a shelf; everything that earns its place on one.

Every product on this site is priced, photographed and in stock. If it is listed, it is in the warehouse.

Our own label

Jannat is ours. We specify it, we commission it and we pack it under our own name — which means we answer for it: the oil, the fill, the seal, the shelf life. It is the largest single range we carry and the only one we control from end to end.

The houses we represent

Alongside Jannat we represent a portfolio of established houses, each the best of its kind at what it makes. We hold their ranges in full rather than in fragments, so a buyer can take a line rather than a list, and we stand behind them exactly as we stand behind our own.

Who we supply

National retailers and independent grocers, restaurants, bakeries and specialty stores — and, unusually for a distributor of this scale, the cook who wants a single jar. One catalog serves both. An approved trade account sees case pricing across every product; everyone else sees the shelf price. Opening an account takes about a minute.
